FAQ

  • What types of remodeling projects do you specialize in?

We specialize in designing and remodeling places where people gather and spend time together. On the residential side, that means interiors and exteriors built for connection ie. kitchens, patios, living spaces. Commercially, we focus on lounges, eateries, and venues. We love creating spaces with amazing atmosphere where people can relax and make memories.

  • How involved can I be in the design process?

As involved as you want to be! or not much at all. The best designs come from collaborating with great minds. We can work closely with you to pull out your ideas and match the right materials and layout, or you can hand us the vision and we’ll run with it. Since we bill hourly for design, this gives you tons of flexibility.

  • What’s your approach to creating gathering-friendly spaces?

We focus on the main areas where people naturally come together, like kitchens, dining areas, and living rooms and make sure those spaces feel intentional and inviting. At the same time, we love finding underutilized corners and turning them into places for connection, like a reading nook, built-in bench, or cozy seating area. Our goal is to make the entire home feel welcoming, not just the obvious gathering spots.

  • Do you work with local artists or custom fabricators?

Yes! We’ve built a strong network of creative Artisans across Oregon and the West Coast. Depending on the project, we’ll bring in these subs to create something special. We carefully vet our subs to make sure they love what they do. We believe creativity thrives in a fun, energized culture, and we aim to bring that enviroment to every project.

  • How long does a full home remodel typically take?

People often forget how much time planning and pre-construction take. If you’re handling permits, plans, and design on your own, that phase can drag on for months… or even years. We’ve streamlined the process, so what might take others 12 months, we can often do in far less. Once we break ground, we move fast, but it’s still construction, and things like supply delays can happen. Having a solid team and a reliable network makes all the difference.

  • What makes your design-build approach different from hiring a separate Interior designer and builder?

When the person who makes the promises (designer) isn’t in sync with the one delivering them (builder), things get missed. That’s the #1 cause of poor results. Our team is aligned from day one and our designer and builder work side by side to make sure your priorities are understood and executed all the way through.
